2016-07-13: Come celebrate Bastille Day in Oakland with Bistro Moustache

Post date: Aug 30, 2016 11:52:33 AM

Bastille Day is tomorrow July 14, and tomorrow also happens to be the day we play atCampovida in Oakland. What are the chances!

We'll augment / improve / replace / brighten the somewhat overly patriotic liberté, égalité, fraternité celebration with a good dose of musette, manouche swing, and songs. Campovida is a wine bar, so that seems perfectly appropriate for a French event.

We will not keep strictly with (or probably even anywhere close to) the whole revolution theme, and in fact, to to keep in style with today's peaceful and courteous political debate we promise that no beheading will take place.

And as if that was not enough of an incentive to spend your Thursday evening with us, we'll have a special guest: Odlie Lavault on accordion. Yes that famous Odile, mon amie from the Baguette Quartette.

This all happens at 6pm, 103 Linden, in Oakland.
